Greetings,
This month has been a month of surprises, my 32nd birthday, blessings, loves, test, as well as many challenges and my first interview with a magazine. Yes you got it Ujima Magazine! Ujima magazine is committed to reporting on community events in Austin Texas and surrounding areas. They profile people that are everyday hero's that contribute to the community.
Thus when asks to interview I picked up my pooch and we headed to Starbucks, sipped on a white chocolate mocha and it was like sitting down with family. I thought that it would be nerve wrecking, but when you pray, and keep it real. Hey the real you shines through. I am grateful that I had this opportunity, and I am grateful for all of you guys that have supported my new book and those that are pondering the idea of supporting it. This is a new journey y'all, and I have lived one of my dreams..Whew! One down 2 to go! My next dream is pending and will be unveiled in due time..Until we meet again my friends....Remember look up to the sky at least once, stop and smell those roses, and remember that love is free... Sooooo, if you really want to see what I had to say about ???
Pick up an October issue of Ujima magazine...

I just wanted to tell everyone what a wonderful person Shametra really is. I had a sit down with her the other day, and was amazed at all the inspirational words she had in store for us. I believe that she is sincere in thought and word and that what she writes comes from her heart. She has a true story of life, with its ups and downs, and has emerged seemingly more positive than anyone ever could. Her achievements and continued ambition at bettering herself and those around her leads me to challenge my own way of life. Shametra truly has helped me see that real work and commitment can indeed enrich us with what we truly desire, peace. Read her book and I guarantee you will know her too.
Sincerely,
Shawn Watts
Shawn, thank you for those encouraging words. They go a mighty long way. It was a blessings to meet with you and your spouse as we sipped on some kick butt coffee.
How's that book coming by the way?
Thanks to Doctor scully for making the connection.
Peace and blessings be unto you
